Our featured vintage wine of the week is the fantastic Fleur du Cap Pinotage 2002.
Dark ruby with a slight purple rim. Cherry and ripe plums, spiced with vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with ripe plums and berry flavours with a long persistent aftertaste.
Perfect with grilled lamb and poultry, pork roasts, game and fish, an ideal accompaniment to classic Cape cuisine, such as bobotie and Malay curries, as well as spicy Mexican food.
